I ordered a custom College Jellycat Bunny on April 8 as a graduation gift. The stated lead time was approximately 8 weeks, but I had difficulty obtaining a specific ship date despite multiple follow-up emails. Unfortunately, the item did not arrive in time for the event for which it was purchased.
I was later informed that the owner's family had experienced a serious personal emergency, and I was sympathetic to that situation. However, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the delay and the absence of proactive updates.
When the bunny finally arrived, I was also disappointed with the quality of the customization. The stitching was much more visible and uneven than I expected based on the examples shown online, and the overall finish did not feel as refined as I anticipated for a custom handmade item at this price point.
I shared my concerns and photos directly with the seller but did not receive a response.
While others may have had different experiences, mine fell short of expectations in terms of communication, turnaround time, and final product quality.
